New Recording Desk at Truth Studios Los Angeles

RECAP:

Seeing a brand new desk assembled is an empowering feeling, especially when it’s such a nice desk like a Sterling Modular. Freshly assembled, no scratches or dings, not a scuff on the rack rails. Loading gear into the racks as careful as possible to keep the desk in mint condition. I filmed a time-lapse of all the gear as each piece was put in place to serve as a reminder of how important today was. Seeing this new set up come together is really exciting! We’ve made a number of purchases over the last few months that had to sit on the sidelines because we didn’t have enough room in the old desk.

Our time is now! With so much momentum and all this great music being made at our studio we had no choice but to provide our clients the best there is. This should be the final desk set up to live at Truth for years to come. Hopefully, we’re lucky enough to need more racks and expand with even more gear but this is the final stretch.

A few more pieces are in the mail, one large recording channel that will take up 6 rack spaces filling the big gap on the top right of the desk. Can’t wait!

The studio started in the bedroom of studio owner Nick Breton’s apartment making music with local Los Angeles buzzing artists. We have since grown into a beautiful loft where the studio currently operates. Truth offers studio rental, recording, mixing and mastering services to independent and major label clients from every corner of the globe.
