RECAP:

Today was my first session of the year with Cam O’bi and it was fucking awesome ! We started off catching up on life and talking about what we’d both been up to. Cam and I got all set up and Ben arrived shortly after. He’s a phenomenal bass player and friend of Cam’s who came in to play over one track which then turned into him playing over 4 more. Ben has a sweet 6 string bass and a full rack of pedals he travels with which made my life easy. He handed me the output of his rig which I ran into the great river, the bax EQ and the MC77 compressor. I patched cam in through the distressors so he could use his laptop as an instrument and record along side of Ben. We ran through 5 songs as I mentioned, banging them out one at a time as Cam asked for him to play in one style or another and with various effects as he played different sections. We milked it all the way down to the last minute making sure we got as much recorded as possible before my next session started.
