RECAP:

Short 4 hour afternoon session with Towkio today. Started with him playing me the ideas he has already started working on for his next project. I’d say right now he had about 10 songs starting to form as demos going forward. Then we got into the beats he’s been collecting and he has some serious heat. Hopefully you’ve had a chance to check out Towkio and his first release WAV Theory. His music videos were great, especially the main WAV Theory video.. Incredibly creative. I’m very excited to see his next project come to life. He’s got a great blend of sounds and styles, paired with a number of skills from producing and writing to directing. Had a fun little session working on a new idea to add into the pile of potential for his next project. Not sure if it’s going to be an album or a mixtape yet but from our conversation it sounded more like it would be a mixtape before he creates an album with more of his production.

TOWKIO PROFILE:

Singer, Rapper, Producer, Director.. A man of many creative talents. After his debut album Wav Theory released earlier this year Towkio has had a ton of success. Big records with both Vic Mensa and Chance The Rapper, most notably “Heaven Only Knows” with Lido and Eryn Allan Kayne. Extremely creative and talented video director and overall incredible energy as a human.
