Back at Truth with Towkio !! The last time he was here (roughly 10 days) I was out of town and prior to that, we’ve been woking in Malibu at Shangri-La. I do admit I miss being out there but I always love working with Towkio on home turf. We spent a few minutes catching up since I haven’t seen him for a couple months. He played me the latest records he’s been working on and they’ve completely transformed since I heard them last. LOVE what he’s doing with the tracks I heard tonight !! We pulled up one of the new songs and started working on a 4 bar section he wanted to replace. He got that part nailed and started working on another 4 part section but he had to leave for a last minute session at another studio.

I timed it perfectly to go pick up some gear I found on craigslist. By the time I got back he was en route so it worked out flawlessly. We pulled up another track and got right work when he arrived. We spent most of the time sequencing and arranging a track that he felt was getting too out of hand. Locked it down and made it all work… for now. Productive day, 11 hours, had a lot to do and we got it done !
