We had an incredible session tonight. I met Tish in a writing session with Wondagurl over the weekend of the Grammy’s and instantly fell in love with her music. From 7+ years in this studio I’ve met more artists than one person could listen to in a lifetime. From recording a first song to recording 8th/9th/10th albums, It’s extremely rare when you meet an artist who writes all the lyrics, melodies, that also has a very unique and distinguishing voice. When you add in a life full of adversity and more drive than 99% of people on the planet you have something seriously rare. I’m continuously blown away by Tish both as an artist and a friend. She’s incredibly driven, knows what she’s working towards and conducts sessions on a high professional level maximizing everyone in the room to produce on their highest level. She’s currently finishing her debut album, we’re in discussion to be mixing it here at Truth and I’m very excited to be a part of her project. Coming up to the second quarter of the year I can easily say it’s one of my most anticipated albums this year.

Her guitar player Dave is a perfect partner, the workflow they have is very entertaining to watch. They write so quickly and cycle through ideas until the right vibe sticks and before you know it a song is complete. Hope to start filming these as we continue working together, it’s a treat being there.
