RECAP:

Met a legend today thanks to Tommy Genesis :). I was really happy to hear this was going down when Tommy text me last week. She arrived first and we played a few songs from her album since she got the final mastered version of it. It sounds AWESOME, the mixing & mastering engineers killed it. I really like a few of the songs on this album a lot and I hope the world pays attention when it comes out!

Skrillex arrived about 15 minutes after Tommy w/ his dog Loke the Pomski. Definitely one of the most beautiful dogs I’ve ever seen in my life.

We played Tommy’s album from top to bottom, they talked about life & music for a long time. We went over to the park for a few minutes to play with Loke then ate at Escuela. After eating we went back to the studio and listened to Skrillex’s music… Holy shit. He took a break from music for over a year after telling us he’d been touring for nearly 8 years straight… I can’t imagine.

Anyway, really excited for these two & I hope that they make some music together! He must have played 15 beats that were mind blowing & Tommy would slay them!
