Reconnected with another music wizard while he’s in town from Scotland, Mr. Sam Gellaitry! We’ve been making magic in every session but we struck gold tonight! I set up the U67 for the first official session and Sun absolutely SMASHED two songs tonight. Her voice is so incredible & we had a killer 6 hour session! We started by playing a few records Sam worked on since our last session. His orchestration is outta this world! We were blown away by his new updates to the song we made last time. We re-cut vocals to another song by basically tracking three takes of the song. After taking a quick break, Sam started cooking up something from scratch. I zoned out laying on the floor for 20 minutes and came to vibing out to this insane beat. Sun wrote a verse and hook really quickly and we cut that to end the night. Such a high from that session!
