RECAP:

First music release of the year is a personal favorite of mine. This day is so vivid in my mind every time I hear this song. Rejjie Snow had booked the studio for two weeks to make an album entirely produced by Cam O’bi. I went down to go to the bathroom and saw it was raining outside then made mention to them when I came back up. Cam started playing the piano and created this eire melody. As he built out the track Rejjie was writing ideas and piece by piece it started coming together.

A few hours into the session I went downstairs to go to the bathroom and Krondon was in the shop hanging out downstairs. I thought his voice would be so great on this song that I asked Cam and Rejjie if I could bring him up to the session. Within about 30 minutes Kron’s verse was on the song and we were all really in love with how it was going. We got all the pieces down for the whole song, tried a few arrangement ideas and left it as is for the rest of time. Enjoy this one, it’s really special.
