RECAP:

A special night for all at the studio tonight! Coming together with C. S. Armstrong to make an addition to our Warms The Soul series. In typical rockstar fashion, no writing was done before the session he just had an idea for a few words and winged it. Raw talent at its finest captured on tape for the rest of time. I’m going to edit this tonight and our plan is to post the video tomorrow night at 8:30p. Enjoy!!!

I hate to admit this is the first time I’ve used the Sony C37-A since purchasing it a few months ago but I can’t think of a better way to break it in! I wanted to keep things simple and try to channel the sound from a Marvin Gaye session. The rest was really up to C. S. Armstrong and he delivered in full and some! No compression on the track just straight vocal riding on the pre amp going to tape (Pro Tools). Hard to follow an unpredictable path as we didn’t rehearse anything but I did my best not to fu*k it up! Can’t wait to share with yall!!
