Short little session to catch up with each other and talk about this song. We all believe it’s a very special song so we want to make sure it gets the right love and care mix wise. This is one of my favorite songs this year and probably in my career of making music. Cam made an incredible beat, Noname Gypsy killed her verse, Joey Bada$$ killed his verse and Jesse Boykins III laid some beautiful chorus vocals. Can’t wait to bring this song to life! We already had a good sounding reference track from the original session, feel like we have some minor adjustments to make but I really want to make this song as good as I possibly can sonically. It’s mostly just a loop as far as the beat goes so it’s tricky to make sure you arrange it to make it feel like a song and not just a 4 bar repeating loop for 4 minutes.
