RECAP:

My first run mixing with the new studio orientation. It’s amazing how much speaker placement in a room can change EVERYTHING. I immediately noticed my stereo image was now controlled on both sides. Bass is slightly heavier than it should be but it’s actually present now. Prior to the move it was more of a guess, you needed a sub to give you any real info, which makes it hard to trust what you hear.

I was working on a song for Boone, my client from Utah. We have 4 more left, including the one I worked on today. Super cool vibey track as most of his are, tons of respect for anyone willing to put in the work writing all your own music, paying to record, mix and master it professionally. His determination is inspirational and makes me want to work that much harder to make his music great.
