Nick Breton Mixing Polyester The Saint G Perico Single
Artist: Polyester The Saint, G Perico
Producer: Polyester The Saint
Mixing Engineer: Nick Breton
Photography: Martin “Depict”
Pulled up a new single Polyester the Saint made with G Perico after Poly asked me to mix the song with him. I started going through it and getting familiar with the stems then came across a huge Astrix move when I heard how this bass was recorded. Called Polyester right away saying that wasn’t gonna fly and we had to set up another session w the bass player to come bless the song. Aside from that I got to work on the instrumental and did a lot of manual vocal editing/alignment. Made good progress on the track before Poly came in then we started molding it together. By the end of three or four hours, we had it moving nicely, sounding big, wide and crispy. Mission accomplished! We left it as is until we get the new bass is re-recorded on Monday.
