We had a last minute rental come in tonight with Monte Booker, Smino and Jean Deaux. They’re all in town from Chicago and booked a session to get some work in while they’re out here. Monte played through some tracks when he first got set up and really blew me away with what he’s been making. I ended up leaving for a little while because it was so late and I’d already spent 12 hours in the studio working at a loud volume throughout the day.
