RECAP:

Morning session with Mick Jenkins to start the day ! He arrived on time and we got right to work as usual. We started out with the first song and recorded a hook with many harmonies. Once we dialed in the hook we started to track the verse which he had down within in a few takes. I spent about 15 minutes cleaning it all up before we moved onto the next song. He had a beat from Kaytranada that I would have never expected to be produced by him and we started recording on that track. We cut a verse to it then spent a few minutes cleaning it up.

After we knocked out the two songs he wanted to work on we recorded a verse for a feature that he needed to do. He already had it written and rehearsed which ended up taking him two takes to record.  He’s unbelievably efficient in the studio which always makes for great sessions.
