Mick Jenkins Pressed For Time ft Goldlink

Very excited this song got released! I didn’t know if it would since it didn’t make the album. We made this last fall, it’s one of my favorite Monte beats so far. Mick did a beautiful job with this song. Everyone in the studio felt it was complete so there was a nervous energy when Goldlink said he wanted to put a verse on it. To no surprise, he killed it and complimented the song perfectly. We all loved the way it turned out.

I have my qualms with the final mix and arrangement as it changed quite a bit from when it left Truth. I really wanted to mix this one (and Mick’s album) but you can’t win em all. Happy for all these guys and this beautiful music!
