RECAP:

Massive inspiration after tonights session! What a magical night we just had! Matt & J arrived at 8 after picking up dinner from Erewhon. We started talking about Acid, Mushrooms, micro-dosing etc because we landed on that conversation somehow. J.Kelr and I set up the room for Matt to record demo ideas on a number of J’s tracks. 9 ideas later we knew we were onto something great. We picked the one that was most developed and flushed it out into a whole song. I couldn’t be more excited about the sound from our Sony C800-G / Telefunken V76 / U73 gear. Obviously Matt has an insane voice so that does the heavy lifting but it really sounds fantastic!

We took a stab at a second track but we weren’t able to get it finished. After that attempt we ran through a third song they had done together and organized it into a session for mixing. I bounced out 6 other demos from the initial run through and we set a date for next week to attack these.
