RECAP:

I had a unique session today, I don’t do voice-over work often. Not by choice of course, I would love to do more but it doesn’t find it’s way into the studio because we primarily make music here. Martellus Bennett of the Chicago Bears has a children’s book / app / game that he’s developed and we did the voice over for his main featured character. Ashley was the talent, very friendly with a great voice for an animated character. Aisha and I listened and tried not to laugh as she ran through a number of funny lines. She was on Skype with Martellus the whole time as he coached and gave feedback – I wish I could have heard him reading those lines – too funny !

I was very impressed by the fact that he has put so much effort, time and money into creating material to help children learn to read. We spent two hours recording two pages of lines for the app and I sent the files over as requested.

Very fun short first session for the day!
