RECAP:

Put a cherry on this new song I’ve been working on with Maahes. Tonight was our third session to dial it in and we both left feeling like we had it knocked out right. Easy going session for both of us, I had a recall sheet to get levels up right away and we plowed right through the work.

Tracking recap:

The recording chain went from the C800-G to the 1084 with a 70hz roll off and from there to the CL1B and finally the Burl B2. I was tracking a bit hot for the usual situation but it doesn’t bother me if the peaks kiss -10dB because it’s already being processed on the way in to my liking and I want to keep dynamics alive.
