RECAP:

Day two with the MIA crew. They had a rapper named Callaway come in for the session today. Everyone hung out for the first hour playing each other music and catching a vibe. From there we cued up a record and they started to lay down different ideas.

Recording details:

I set up the U87 for these guys since it sounded like it would better suit the vibe of the track they needed. Ruben started tracking the first run of ideas. The guys sorted out the arrangement and got the first idea down. I helped cut a second idea that turned into a bridge part. Ruben took it home and recorded the two verses which Callaway smashed in one take each. Awesome session tonight!
