Reconnected with Little Simz and I’m so happyyyyyyy!! She’s definitely one of my favorite people to make music with. Every session we’ve had turned out something amazing and today was nothing short of amazing! She pulled up an instrumental from one of my favorite bands and my jaw dropped when she said who it was. Thankful she brought this to work on! It was a really complex rhythm, think it was 3/4. She handled it no problem, ended up singing a bit as well which I love. I set up the gear while she rehearsed and as soon as it was all set up she got right to work. We knocked out the track in an hour or so then spent time cleaning it up and fixing little bits and pieces. Amazing first session in the books, 3 more on the way!

The studio started in the bedroom of studio owner Nick Breton’s apartment making music with local Los Angeles buzzing artists. We have since grown into a beautiful loft where the studio currently operates.
