RECAP:

Unfortunately, this is the last of our scheduled sessions and I’m sad about it. I love working with Simz. She’s one of the most talented, coolest and definitely the most polite person to work with. We spent this session working on two of the records she’s been developing over our last few sessions. They’re basically done at this point, fully recorded with a decent quick mix/master job. Pretty insane how good things can sound in a short period of time. This was our 4th 4-hour block and she knocked out three full songs and made revisions and changes to dial them in. Her beat selection is immaculate. I’m always impressed at the speed of her work from beginning to end. These songs are special, one is a new style for her altogether so I’m excited for it to be out in the world. Keep an eye out!

The studio started in the bedroom of studio owner Nick Breton’s apartment making music with local Los Angeles buzzing artists.
