RECAP:

Day 2! Seems like most of the work is done after a second 12+ hour day of mixing! I’m obsessed with this album, I’ve listened to it with every free minute I have. Trying to find a balance between what Simz wants and what I think it should have. Since she’s taking it to mastering I’m leaving some of the work to her Mastering engineer. The whole project was recorded so well and the sounds are so fun it’s really enjoyable work! Bibi Bourelly came in at the end of the session and we played her the whole album from top to bottom.

My favorite part of the process is pressing play and listening from the first song through to the last. Glenn told me that was his favorite part when he used to mix here, getting to hear an album for the first time it’s ever existed in that state in the entire world. So spoiled here at Truth!
