RECAP:

Surprise last minute session with Joey Bada$$ after getting a call from his manager. He’s in town for a show tonight at the Fonda Theater and wanted to drop by and record a quick verse. The verse was on a song featuring Action Bronson and Rico Love and I’m told it’ll be in the new movie South Paw. Always love working with Joey, inspired by his message and his talent as a writer. We have great chemistry when we make music together. Started off with the two J Dilla songs we cut last year – “Two Lips” and “Like Me Ft. BJ The Chicago Kid”. Ever since it’s been nothing but magic every time. After we knocked out the verse we hung out for a few hours catching up and playing each other new music. Always love to have a DJ session and hear what people are working on. Also trying to connect him with some new musicians and singers I just met. Always trying to grow the community and make things better for everyone.
