RECAP:

Got to reconnect with Jean Deaux while she’s in town and we made magic :). I’ve always loved her music and she’s a hilarious person so the sessions are really fun. We cued up the first song, she tried to mumble some melodies and we pieced together ideas. I bounced that out for her to listen to on a smoke break and she came back with a verse and hook written. Mind blown… It was fucking rad. We knocked that out and she went to town with harmony stacks… It sounded fantastic!

We followed suit with the second track, cued it up with tune and a little reverb. 3 takes of random flow lead to a few ideas that we chopped down and after I took a bathroom break (to pee!) she was ready. I’ve never seen her write so fast… She destroyed the session today and it was incredible.
