RECAP:
Day 3 with the crew that keeps expanding! Can’t wait to see what happens next time!! Today’s special guest was Jason Lader with his beefy A-100 Modular Synth. Took shit to a new level today… We started out with a loop, not sure who created it but Connan took first crack at it and it was absolute magic for so many reasons. We were in tears as he took on different character personas and made skits in between singing very beautiful parts. James went in after and recorded over Connan’s part to create a call and response type feel but it was completely free flowing on both their parts so it was hard to get the timing and words right. We played it back a few times then moved on.
We took a lunch break and went to eat at Terroni’s before Jason arrived. He loaded in the synth and we got it all patched up. Dom and Jason went on to play for about 40 minutes before coming out of the trance. A few of the guys had to pack up but James, Jason and I stayed back to keep working. Jason is a magician with that A-100 ! Don’t want to go into detail but the things he was doing with it sounded so amazing.
Incredible session from start to finish, three truly amazing days of work in the books.
