RECAP:

Day two of two with Jack Troth and ASTR. The session started similar to yesterday with Adam (producer) putting together some drums and basic melodies, this time Jake put in a part or two.  Zoe and Jake started laying vocal ideas, humming or stringing together mumble of lyrics. We spent about a few hours recording that before starting to comp ideas and eventually we got a blueprint for another song. Very similar to yesterday with the work flow, we started a new song completely from scratch. Once we got the basic parts of this one shaped we pulled up the song from yesterday to see if anyone had fresh ideas for it. We also had a running conversation through the session of what we’d be doing if it wasn’t music. The best thing about asking musicians that question is how they all say there is no other option. The dedication, passion and commitment is very impressive.. Especially when you’ve put so much time into getting to this stage.
