Exterior Wall Construction Complete

RECAP:

I skipped a few updates to go right for to good news – We’re DONE !! I LOVE IT! The wall turned out exactly how I hoped it would. Primed white and ready for a mural by (secret surprise). This will be an amazing addition to the studio and it’s a key milestone transition as I mentioned a few days ago. The ride has been bumpy but through the ups and downs come appreciation for the ability to stay the course and keep going.

Chris told me there’s a significant difference in isolation from before and after. I can only imagine how great it’s going to be in addition to the acoustic treatment! I must admit, I’m nervous and remain hopeful this will pan out as intended. Making a move like this could change the sound of the room for the worst and we won’t know until we fire up the gear! I’m very confident in Chris’s abilities and past work so I know were in good hands.

I’m back in LA late tonight and have a few hours in the morning to put the studio together before my first session.

TRUTH STUDIOS PROFILE:

Truth Studios is a boutique recording studio located in the Fairfax district of Hollywood, California. The studio started in the bedroom of studio owner Nick Breton’s apartment making music with local Los Angeles buzzing artists. We have since grown into a beautiful loft where the studio currently operates.
