RECAP:

Had to make sure I wrote a post for the session today. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find the time to write about all of these sessions with Cam but today was notable for a few reasons. First, I believe we finished lead vocals for another song tonight. Second, Chronixx came by the shop downstairs and Mik/Joseph brought him up to the studio. So happy I finally got to meet him! Talks between mutual people we know have said they’ll try to get him to come by when he’s in town… Mik and Joseph made it happen. He was so nice, talked with Cam and I for 15 minutes or so. We also talked about gear, my favorite when an artist asks those type of questions.

After Chronixx left, we continued recording more pieces for the lead of this song. King Mez dropped by and sat in while Cam finished the verse. We all spent the rest of the night talking about a ton of different subjects. Great conversation, tons of laughs. These two are both very thoughtful strong writers so it was great to be a part of the conversation and understand where each is coming from when creating a song.
