Blu Recording Session at Truth Studios with Engineer Nick Breton. Starting the year off on the right foot with one of the best Rappers from Los Angeles in the history of Hip-Hop. As Blu’s debut album “Below The Heavens” is regarded as a classic album even if only on an underground level. Blu has been carrying the touch as a Los Angeles MC best known for story telling and complex raps. Personally he’s one of my favorites, I think he’s incredibly gifted as a writer and story teller which is a lost art in Hip-Hop right now. He’s a monster when it comes to recording.. Always comes in with 5 or 6 songs to record and knocks them out in 2 or 3 hours.

Nothing short of the usual for Blu today. Another 4 songs down, most if not all produced by Nottz.. So much great music being made it’s hard to know how it’s going to reach as many people as it should. His music is very inspiring, his stories often motivating. One of my favorite people to work with in the Rap genre which is grossly over saturated with people attempting to earn a “Rapper Lifestyle” unknown to them that most successful rappers are faking it and not making anything close to the money they make. Blu has always kept it real, he’s had a very interesting life and is a fantastic writer. Always love to work with him, one of the few rappers who is very inspiring to my life directly.
