RECAP:

Picked up a last minute session with the Bennetts! I love making music with them, Martellus always has the best attitude and they all have so much talent. They arrived as Nick Grant, Tae and I were finishing our session (see previous post) so we played them our new EP. The response was exactly what we’d hoped it would be which makes it that much more exciting to finish it up!

Our session started off with a beat Tae left them to work on. Turned into quite a mission, landing just over 4 minutes in total length. Martellus, Michael and Ashley all have parts throughout the song which came out a bit like a family cypher. We had a great time making it, they’re all very involved with each others writing and coaching delivery etc.

Martellus wrote to one more but it was already 3am at that point so everyone was feeling the late night sleepy mode setting in. Overall it was a really great session, happy we got to do that!
