RECAP:

Day one of two with ASTR and Jack Troth.. Three very incredible musicians writing new songs. Spent most of the day jumping around piecing a song together while everyone was putting in ideas over the SM57. The session started with Adam (producer) putting together some drums and basic melodies. Jack and Zoe (singer) laying various vocal ideas. We spent about 5 hours doing that before starting to comp ideas and eventually we got a blueprint for two verses, a pre hook and a hook. Had a ton of laughs getting through it along with a great meal at Erewhon. Fun session today, really looking forward to tomorrow!

We are across the street from the famous CBS Television City studios and down the street from The Grove. Truth Studios started in the bedroom of owner Nick Breton’s apartment making music with local Los Angeles buzzing artists.
