RECAP:

Finally back in the studio with Asher Roth!! He’s been living in Philly for about 1 year, hard to believe how fast time goes. Felt great to have him back in LA and get a few sessions in! We hit Salts Cure for pancakes before getting in the studio and hitting the work.

Recording details:

I set up the C800-G for Asher because I already know it sounds amazing with his vocals. He was the first and only person I’d used a C800-G with prior to buying it. I set the mic up and Asher started mashing just like he always does! We knocked down 3 tracks that might make it on Greenhouse Effect Vol 3 and a feature for Blu. Asher is as good as it gets in the studio, two to three takes max to knock down a song. We recorded a handful for variety trying different styles out but locked in quick and knocked out all 4 in a few hours.

Rapper and Performer from Philadelphia best known for his hit single I Love College. His debut album started a snowball of amazing projects with his latest release titled Retro Hash, a truly amazing body of work. Featured and Toured with artists like Justin Bieber, The Cool Kids, Blu & Exile and many others.
