RECAP:

Sat in with Ash and Nelly tonight, love the music these guys are making! Ash is an amazing character, find myself having some of the wildest conversations with him out of anyone I talk to. Tons of jokes, great personality and it sounds like his life is just simply wild. This is the second session with these guys and I really hope we end up working on most of Ash’s project.

The guys worked on their tracks and recorded new bits/pieces where they needed them. Big meetings this week so they’re getting all the nuts and bolts tight on the new songs.

Awesome night, tons of laughs and great music. Almost forgot we started at 9pm on a Sunday night ;p

TRUTH STUDIOS PROFILE:

Truth Studios is a boutique recording studio located in the Fairfax district of Hollywood, California. The studio started in the bedroom of studio owner Nick Breton’s apartment making music with local Los Angeles buzzing artists. Armstrong knocked out the lead that I filmed and we did it in one take. Such a fucking cool moment for us to have on film. Nothing like nailing the first performance of a song as it’s being invented.
