The first portion of the day was spent mixing, after re-recording a 20 song album because the original vocals weren’t recorded properly. Can’t stress the importance of starting a mixing project with the best possible quality of recording so you can have the best possible result from mixing. Always put your best foot forward.

Mibbs (of Pac Div) and Buddy came in to record a remix of the title song “The Program” from the recently released project. Both had killer verses and we had some good laughs, Buddy always brings good energy and dances around whenever music is on. Knocked out an extra verse for another track with Mibbs before the night session started.

Finally caught up with Alina since we’ve both been so busy, great session working on a new song and spending some time mixing together. I’m really excited for her project I think it’s going to be an incredible debut project for 2014.

Made a house call after our session to go engineer up in the hills. So much good music this year is off to such a great start!
