RECAP:

This picture really blew my mind. I’ve always said I’m not much of an engineer when it comes to the title I’m a pro tools operator. I never thought of myself as a professional and I never thought of the studio as a professional space. This is the first time I feel like an idiot for ever saying or feeling that.

After 10 years, I have arrived at a unique point in time. Seeing this transition from a hobby to a business was amazing. Watching the transition from a small business to breaking even and turning a profit felt fantastic. Growing from a profitable business to a world class facility is where I would put the needle right now. On the long road of this career path, this is a monumental point to look around and smell the roses.

I know there is an unbelievable amount of work ahead but I could not be more excited to do it in this studio. The energy here has always been special, you can ask anyone that’s worked in here. Taking it to this level of professionalism is very inspiring and very exciting! As the business grows, I plan to continue to re-invest in the facility until the full ground up remodel is complete with all new acoustic treatment and furniture. I estimate this phase to take 1 year as the next few stages are VERY expensive. Stage one of this plan is well on its way to being complete and the feeling is surreal.

TRUTH STUDIOS PROFILE:

Truth Studios is a boutique recording studio located in the Fairfax district of Hollywood, California. The studio started in the bedroom of studio owner Nick Breton’s apartment making music with local Los Angeles buzzing artists. We have since grown into a beautiful loft where the studio currently operates. Truth offers studio rental, recording, mixing and mastering services to independent and major label clients from every corner of the globe.

Truth Studios is affiliated with acts such as Chance The Rapper, James Blake, Vic Mensa, Joey Bada$$, Boi 1da, Macy Gray, Mr Hudson, Walk The Moon, Martin Garrix, Dom Kennedy, Asher Roth, Chuck Inglish, Alina Baraz, Anatii and hundreds of other artists. This studio has become a landmark icon in Los Angeles and the music community worldwide.
