RECAP:

Lucky me, lucky me! Two fantastic badass women in one session working on an amazing remix to a record called “Toast” that came out yesterday. We had a lot of laughs and great company (Ryan, Trevor and Atlis the rockstar dog). Maty wrote her verse in a matter of minutes and knocked out the recording with ease. From there she learned the bridge which was quite a tongue twister and knocked out a double in near perfect timing. Boyfriend went in to re-cut her lead vocal as I thought the old one wasn’t great sonically. After all the main vocals were cut the girls tried new adlibs and harmonies to see if anything would stick. We ended up with a lot of great material then sorted it and got things ready for mixing.

Hopefully I’ll be hired on to finish the record, I really like it and know that I can bring it to the level of quality they’re looking for.
