RECAP:

After a successful run last night Dev and Chris decided to book another late night session. I was coming off a crazy high from the session before that just ended at 12am with Noname and Cam (see previous blog post) and this was a very interesting transition to say the least. She had two “very lit individuals” as one might say haha I’m not exactly sure what drugs they were on but it seemed like they were enjoying themselves.

Dev came in and got right to it in similar fashion to our session last night. She sent me three instrumentals to work on which I was excited about thinking we’d somehow polish off three songs in a short two hour session but that didn’t happen. We did make some good progress on one since she’s writing on the fly. The more music I hear from her the more I like her. I think she has the ability to make an interesting project that will catch peoples attention (not sure if she’s going for an EP/Album/Mixtape or what yet. We added a verse to another song she’s developing and ended up cutting it off after that since I had to export the vocal files for the session tonight and our session from last night.

Still a solid run in my book, I’m looking forward to the next session with her whenever that’ll be!
