RECAP:

Early morning rental making beautiful music on a Sunday. JP rented the studio to do a session with John Chapman. I came in at the end to shoot some pictures and listen to the songs.. John is very talented, they tracked everything live.. In four hours they recorded 9 songs, 4 with him singing and playing piano and 5 with him playing guitar and singing. I came in at the end to hear some of the songs on guitar and catch him adding slide guitar (as seen in the picture above). Needed a day off from the studio since I’ve been putting in crazy hours after being in Italy. Today was a nice surprise because this is my favorite genre of music.. I always know JP will be working on great music so it’s a treat when I get to hear it early.

Also! Before John came in JP and I made a little beat together. Really enjoying getting into making music and look forward to making more with JP. I played some piano chords completely off feeling, JP has a cool Korg drum machine he just bought which we ran through a tube pre amp into a distressor.
