Diz Gibran Recording at Truth Studios
RECORDING LOG:
Artist: Diz Gibran
Recording Engineer: Nick Breton
RECAP:
Long overdue to get Diz Gibran back in the booth. One of my favorite people in Los Angeles, a good friend of mine who’s music has always been a personal favorite. Started out recording a new song (forgot name of producer) for a Crooks & Castles mixtape they’re working on. This track is going to be the intro with a special dedication to Ludes. Recorded the probably 40-50 bar verse a few times then I mixed it down and we went to dinner. Had to give the song a good car test since we had to finish it tonight. Did a car test, laptop tests, phone tests and landed with some minor adjustments. The song came out great, excited for you guys to hear it!
GEAR:
Custom modified Microphone
Great River Pre Amp

DIZ GIBRAN PROFILE:
Writer and rapper from Los Angeles. His first project titled “Soon You’ll Understand” because a colt classic to the Los Angeles underground Hip-Hop scene. Diz Gibran and production partner Moonshine remind most of a west coast Gangstar. With raw beat production and immaculate rap the combo always had a special sound.
