RECAP:

Great session tonight with King Mez and company! Solid good energy from start to finish accompanied by great results from recording. Mez and his friend arrived first, we set up his C800g and Manley Card Ref along with mine. Unfortunately, when we called up the C800g it sounded like the tube was broken. Mez said that happened prior which stopped me from having a heart attack thinking I did something wrong.

When the choir arrived Mez played them the track and let them feel out what they would do with it on their own. He wanted to see what ideas they came up with before directing them to do what he needed. I recorded everything they sang and he left with a ton of recorded material to sift through. We all had a great time, awesome people and we’re all very happy with the results from the session tonight.

Writer, Rapper, Composer and Producer from North Carolina. Signed to Aftermath records, most famously known for contributions to the Compton album and writing with Dr. Dre and Kanye West.
