First session of the year with Chuck Inglish from The Cool Kids! I was running a few minutes behind so he went to Terroni’s to eat and I went over there too. He needed to record a verse for a Cool Kids feature so we started with that and got it knocked out quick.

We started a new video of Chuck making a beat, which he later told me was his first beat of the year. I think everyone is going to really enjoy the video and the beat. Classic Chuck drums, he had them down within about 15 seconds… If you don’t start shooting as soon as the program opens you might miss something. He layered a number of sounds and we had our first computer crash on the new system (on day two, made me nervous). But he recovered gracefully and pushed forward working up until his girlfriend arrived to pick him up.

Great first run of the year with Chuck, we have a lot more work to do. Very excited to keep working on Cool Kids music and seeing what comes from the sessions.
