RECAP:

Another day in the studio with Cam working on his debut album. This session was set up for multi-instrumentalist Aaron Shaw to come in and record flute. I met Aaron a few weeks ago in a session with Raury… He’s amazing !! He absolutely rips the Sax. Tonight Cam had him playing flute which was a first for me in terms or tracking. Can’t recall recording anyone play flute here before. We close mic’d one by the hole you blow into and set up a room mic about four feet to the right in line with the close mic. We had two great options along with a nice blendable option if he wants to use both. Nice session, solid flow throughout and we got the tracking in the bag the way Cam wanted it.
