Tulum, Mexico 2018 My Dad’s 70th

Hard to believe my dad is 70 years old today. The sentence carries a lot of weight for me because time is on fast forward. Living my life in the studio makes it all seem like one long day but stepping out of the time portal and back into reality can be a bit abrasive. We all go through it. We all put our lives on hold to chace dreams. I’m very close with my parents and the one thing that kills me most is that I can’t spend more time with them AND be in the studio at the same time.

Got spoiled by beautiful weather and some of the best food you will ever eat in your entire life. The local people of that area are the kindest and sweetest you’ll ever meet. 4 days down there is never enough but it’s right back into grind mode with 12+ hour days all week and mixing all weekend.
