RECAP:

The end of a great weekend would ideally be Vallis Alps coming in to work on new music. Sunday night, 9pm – 11pm Vallis Alps came to the studio and worked on new music ! How did I ever get so lucky? As November comes to a close the home stretch is filled with small chunks of gold. I was introduced to Melody (VA mgmt – Thank you Robbie !!) a few weeks ago and have been listening to their music a lot since the intro. Parissa’s voice is so beautiful !

They arrived promptly on time at 9pm looking for a room with a piano to write in. For the first hour, they were in there with the mics off (huge bummer I didn’t catch that on tape) and it sounded so beautiful. Once they got through some ideas we turned mics on, Parissa held the 57 and the 414 was on figure of 8 inside the piano. They wanted the equivalent of voice memo notes so we didn’t do much but record their ideas. Can’t wait to get back in the studio with these two next year !!
