Had to leave town for a few days to go visit my parents and celebrate my dads birthday. Nothing resets you better than time with your parents and time in nature. Lucky for me I get both when I go see them, staying out in the mountains with no cell service and hardly any neighbors. The peace of nature after a heavy snow storm is something I’ve marveled at and appreciated since the first time I ever saw it in person. Waking up to snow covered trees, houses and streets with little to no noise around you is so calming and opens your mind to think so different.

Got to snowboard / ski with my long time friend Sierra Quitiquit who’s a professional big mountain skier and model.. She kicked my ass! I held my own for my first day of the year and we got a full day in the powder (unfortunately it was pretty heavy and wet) but it was so incredible. Another one of my favorite places on earth, in the trees after a big storm with a snowboard, headphones and plenty of safety meetings.

Taking time to update our social media pages, find some new music and videos and start our bandcamp. Excited to watch this month unfold, so many great things ahead.

We are across the street from the famous CBS Television City studios and down the street from The Grove. Truth Studios started in the bedroom of owner Nick Breton’s apartment making music with local Los Angeles buzzing artists.
