Towkio is in town all week until the next Fools Gold event so this is our first session to start the week. Always love to catch up with him! He’s got great stories, great beats from some new producers and awesome music. I’m very excited for his new album. Tonight we worked on a new track called “RockStar” prod. Smoko Ono that’s going to be a banger when it’s all done. Smoko’s production on this one is minimal and dark with some heavy amp feedback guitars ringing in and out. One of the more ignorant type of tracks lyrically (anyone who knows me knows it’s my least favorite) but we spent the night with him writing the first verse and recording a ton of ideas.
