RECAP:

Last minute extension from a session booked earlier today with Wondagurl. Thurz, Rocki Evans and Jessie Reyez were hanging out in the studio for about 5 hours tonight! Started off with Jessie while we waited forThurz and Rocki to arrive. She downloaded a track she’s been working on and started writing to it. Once Thurz and Rocki arrived we started listening to everyone’s music.Thurz played some new material, Rocki played some new material and Jessie did as well. All of it was good while each had a few stand out songs that were really special. Addy (manager of Rich Kidd, Producer from Toronto) who booked the session tonight was playing them different tracks to write to but unfortunately we didn’t catch a vibe tonight. Ended up hanging out and listening to a lot of music though, they’re all friends of many years and I haven’t seen them for a while so it was great to catch up with everyone!
