RECAP:

A few months ago Cam introduced me to an artist named Roman Flowrs who sang with one of the most unique voices I’ve ever heard. “Bumpy Mayfield” is a character voice Roman does that is reminds me of Louis Armstrong. We spend a majority of the session talking. At first it was about who Roman is, what he does and what he’s interested in since I really hadn’t read up about him prior to us working.

He recorded 3 ideas on 3 different tracks but didn’t have enough material ready to really make songs.

We spent an hour and a half discussing where he’s at now and what he’s trying to accomplish going forward. I believe in him, he’s very talented in all lanes he’s in but he needs to focus and plan with each lane so progress can be made. The struggle for any creative artist but it must be done !
