RECAP:

Our first session of the way was with Ingrid, a rapper/singer/songwriter from Houston, TX who’s in town for the weekend. We started the session going through beats that Walter collected for her. The first batch was from James Fontlroy, an incredible producer/songwriter who I LOVE.. So I was very excited to hear new music from him. The whole batch of tracks was incredible. She picked 3 or 4 then narrowed it down to the one that we worked on. I looped the track for her, she wrote the first chunk of the song then we laid it down and moved on to another.

We are across the street from the famous CBS Television City studios and down the street from The Grove. Truth Studios started in the bedroom of owner Nick Breton’s apartment making music with local Los Angeles buzzing artists.
