RECAP:

Booked a last minute recording session with Domo Genesis after having an unfortunate (but actually fortunate) cancelation. I’m a huge fan of Domo. As far as rap goes for 2016, he’s in my top 5 favorites. It seemed to be his first recording session since releasing his debut album “Genesis”. We started the session catching up and listening to beats. I played him tracks from a number of producers to see what style was catching his interest. Blended Babies and THX were clear winners. Both making some killer new tracks over the last few weeks. The beats were all killer from both parties!

I set Domo up on the AKG 414, showed Vic my sweet spots on the gear and let them do their thing. He knocked out a new verse to a Blended Babies track quickly, we all loved it. By the time he finished that verse I received a beat pack from THX that blew us all away. Literally 10/10 beats were complete fire !! He ended up writing to a beat from THX and unfortunately I had to leave right before he started recording. Awesome last minute session today !

Rapper and part of Odd Future from Los Angeles California. Working on his debut album to be release on Odd Future Records and featuring a variety of artists and producers like Mac Miller, Sha Money, Tyler The Creator and more. Most famously known as an Odd Future member along side Tyler the Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Hodgy Beats, LeftBrain and Jasper.
